The 2nd Instant Choir was bigger than we could have imagined! Following the death of Canadian icon Leonard Cohen, Growing The Voices: Festival 500 decided to plan it ‘instantaneously’. Thanks to Marktek, we were able to host this event at Atlantic Place with available, free parking.
Close to 400 people ranging in age from 6-96 came out to this event. Together, we learned to sing Hallelujah in 3-part harmony. Led by the oh-so-funny Julia Halfyard and Peter Halley, everyone had a great time! Within 1.5 hours, we were ready for the final performance! Watch our rendition of “Hallelujah” here now:
